Inspius helps Singapore and US tech companies build and manage remote software engineering teams in Vietnam. We believe in the potential of Vietnamese software engineers and are dying to help them advance their careers with remote jobs at Singapore and US product companies.

Now, we are building our own tech product, an AI-powered technical assessment platform, that helps HR personnel to assess technical capability of software engineer candidates quickly, easily and accurately.

Product overview

• HR uploads their JD
• Platform generates a technical assessment based on the given JD
• Candidate completes the assessment on our platform
• Platform grades the submissions and send a report to HR

Set up the technical foundation and build the application from scratch

• Architect, design, and develop the technical foundation for our new application from scratch, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and security. Our priority now is speed so a medium functional technical foundation is okay for now.
• Collaborate with our product owner and UX/UI designer to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Lead the end-to-end development process, including frontend (NextJS) and backend development (TypeScript), database design, and integration of external services and APIs.
• Deploy the application and ensure the application’s availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize application performance.

Critical requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• At least 5 years of solid back-end development (TypeScript, NestJS)
• Familiar with building applications from scratch
• Familiar with system design and design patterns
• Comfortable with small teams

Bonus requirements:

• Experienced in front-end development (NextJS)
• Experienced in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with external services and APIs.
• Proficient in database design and management using MongoDB and Redis.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS, and experience deploying applications using containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Able to communicate in English
