Our client, a market leader in synthetic data used by global corporations for software testing and machine learning requirements, is seeking an experienced Senior Front End Developer/Front end software engineer with hands-on experience (not just concept) with React.js framework, as well as common languages (such as HTML, CSS, JAVAScript) used for front-end development. The Front-End engineer will be an integral part of the overall engineering team and responsible for building and/or improving customer-facing functionality of the company web platform.   • Build and maintain user interfaces using React.js
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to create intuitive and visually appealing web pages and components, used by large, global customer users (our company t is a B2B platform)
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
  • Implement automated testing and debugging processes to ensure high-quality code
  • Continuously research and adopt new technologies and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
  • Work collaboratively with back-end developers to integrate front-end functionality with back-end services

Critical Requirements:

  • You have deep experience in building highly-optimized, highly-scalable front-ends pulling data from huge, complex and dynamic databases.
  • Good knowledge of how backend works and how various backend components interact with one another.
  • Good knowledge of design patterns, especially MVC.
  • Deep experience in refactoring a JQuery application to a ReactJS one.
  • Understand conceptual data model diagrams for example Entity-Relationship diagrams.

Important Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as front-end developer using React.js (you maybe requested to show your past work output)
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, JAVAScript, Node.js
  • Intelligent, creative and dedicated problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of front-end optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and other communication methods
  • Some familiarity working with multiple databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL, Postgres
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Ability to work in Agile sprint environments (2-4 weeks sprints)
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills (including with product management and other key stakeholders outside of engineering
  • Career minded/committed person who is passionate about their job

Bonus Requirements:

  • Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Struts, Ruby on Rails, Groovy, AngularJS
  • Background in multiple databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL
